A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available on a contract basis in Stone Mountain, GA, offering an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. This role demands proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging technologies and systems essential for delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
Responsibilities include operating advanced nuclear medicine equipment such as the Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe, Capintec dose calibrators (CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta), LudLum Model 14C survey meter, and Bicron 2000 survey meter. The technologist will work within Epic unit systems and be familiar with PACS, Philips Skylight, and Siemens Symbia EvoScrub platforms. The schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts from 06:00 to 17:30, with every other weekend off. Call duties are required one week per month, covering both weekdays and weekends during specified hours.
Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience, current BLS certification, ARRT-R credential, and NMTCB certification. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical abilities and will undergo a clinical screening process prior to final approval. New technologists or first-time candidates will not be considered.
Working in this role requires flexibility to float within the facilitys scope of practice and availability to work major holidays as assigned. Compliance with orientation and credentialing timelines is essential to maintain contract schedules.
