Job Description

Step into a vital role in a state-of-the-art imaging department, providing high-quality nuclear medicine services to adolescent through geriatric patients. This contract opportunity requires a skilled professional experienced in a range of advanced imaging and processing technologies.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts weekly (06:00 17:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Some floating within the facility/scope of practice
  • On-call one week per month: MondayFriday (end of shift to 2300), weekends (07002300)
  • Expectation to work certain major holidays based on assignment dates

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in nuclear medicine; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT-R and NMTCB certifications
  • Proficiency with Xceleris processing, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C and Bicron 2000 survey meters
  • Familiarity with Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo, and Epic documentation systems
  • Required to wear dark grey scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols
  • Accurately calculate and administer radiopharmaceutical dosages
  • Monitor patient safety, comfort, and care throughout testing
  • Produce and interpret images using advanced PACS and related system software
  • Document findings and procedures in EPIC EHR
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and a sterile field as necessary
  • Adapt to diverse patient populations and multi-facility workflow

  • Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to maintain start datecomprehensive orientation provided.
  • Participation in clinical screening and review prior to assignment.
