Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with flexible scheduling, as determined by facility needs

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program
  • Current registry with ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
  • Valid state license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Experience preparing/administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating imaging equipment
  • Up-to-date BLS certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images of organs and tissues
  • Adhere to stringent radiation safety standards for patient and self-protection
  • Clearly explain procedures and address patient concerns
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance
  • Document all administered substances, imaging processes, and patient outcomes accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide essential diagnostic information
  • Support ongoing research and innovation in imaging practices
