• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-NM)
• Valid state licensure in nuclear medicine or eligibility for licensure
• Demonstrated experience in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Comprehensive knowledge of radiation safety and patient care protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging or therapeutic purposes following established protocols
• Operate nuclear medicine cameras and imaging equipment to conduct a variety of diagnostic scans
• Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
• Acquire, process, and analyze images for physician interpretation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of scans, procedures, and patient data
• Perform and document regular equipment checks to guarantee optimal function and safety compliance
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes
• Follow all privacy and infection control standards in handling patient information and procedures
