Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARDMS, NMTCB, or equivalent).
- State licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or eligibility as required).
- Demonstrated proficiency performing a variety of nuclear imaging studies, including PET, SPECT, and gamma camera procedures.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and best practices.
- Effective communication abilities, with an emphasis on compassionate patient interaction.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a clinical team.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and advanced imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Accurately document findings and maintain complete, organized records.
