This temporary assignment offers you the opportunity to deepen your clinical knowledge by working with diverse imaging technology and interacting with various healthcare teams. You'll develop valuable insight into both established and innovative workplace practices, all while working with two distinct camera systems: Siemens for nuclear medicine and Discovery ST for PET. Gaining exposure to a variety of leadership approaches broadens your professional perspective, building a more robust resume for future career advancement.
Schedule:
- 8-week engagement, with flexibility to extend
- Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour day shifts
- Start time may vary; end of day by 5:30 pm
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
- Familiarity with Siemens and Discovery ST equipment preferred
- Valid BLS or CPR certification
- (A.R.R.T) certification required
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Operate and manage imaging equipment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
- Adhere to best practices and protocols for accurate imaging and data management
