Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or equivalent)
  • Registered with appropriate governing bodies
  • Proven experience in conducting a variety of imaging procedures, including SPECT, PET, and general nuclear medicine exams
  • In-depth understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Technical proficiency with imaging equipment and related software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders
  • Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide supportive care as needed during procedures
  • Accurately document and report findings; maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Oversee equipment upkeep, calibration, and compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient care and treatment planning
  • Maintain meticulous records and adhere to facility protocols and regulatory requirements
