  • Active registration and compliance with relevant state and national standards
  • Proven experience operating nuclear medicine equipment and software
  • Proficiency in patient preparation, radiopharmaceutical administration, and safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Accurately preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals within regulatory guidelines
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
  • Maintaining comprehensive records, logs, and documentation related to imaging studies
  • Monitoring equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinating maintenance as needed
  • Engaging with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns to provide a positive experience
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
