Job Description
This travel opportunity is ideal for a Nuclear Medicine Technician skilled in nuclear imaging studies, ready to support a dynamic healthcare setting split between two locations. The role involves working Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with responsibilities shared between a cardiology outpatient office in Portsmouth, NH, and a main campus in Maine.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of general nuclear medicine and cardiac nuclear stress studies.
- Administer intravenous (IV) insertions as necessary.
- Safely handle and store radioactive materials in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine Accreditation.
- Keep current with the State of Maine Radioactive Materials license requirements.
- Accurately document all procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate effectively with cardiologists and radiologists to ensure high-quality exam results.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and communication.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential.
- Commitment to adhering to timecard submission policies for timely processing.
