Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (specific schedule details provided during the interview process)

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Minimum of 6 months focused in Cardiac Imaging
  • Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT with precision and clinical skill
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by clearly explaining procedures and prioritizing safety
  • Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations in compliance with NYSDOH standards
  • Manage and document data using the eRecord CUPID system while upholding stringent regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to integrate new technologies and continuously refine clinical protocols
  • Consistently demonstrate values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence
  • Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis, and hybrid SPECT/PET sarcoid or viability studies
