Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific schedule details provided during the interview process)
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Minimum of 6 months focused in Cardiac Imaging
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT with precision and clinical skill
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by clearly explaining procedures and prioritizing safety
- Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations in compliance with NYSDOH standards
- Manage and document data using the eRecord CUPID system while upholding stringent regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to integrate new technologies and continuously refine clinical protocols
- Consistently demonstrate values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence
- Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis, and hybrid SPECT/PET sarcoid or viability studies
