Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment
• Operate specialized nuclear medicine equipment to generate detailed functional images of organs and tissues
• Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and informed consent
• Maintain the highest standards of radiation safety for patients, colleagues, and oneself
• Perform routine equipment checks and scheduled maintenance to guarantee optimal operation
• Accurately document patient data and procedural information
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinicians to support diagnosis and treatment plans
• Comply with all institutional, state, and federal safety and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Active certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N) required
• Previous experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred
• Commitment to patient care, safety, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
