This eight-week travel assignment (with possible extension) will expose you to a modern imaging environment utilizing advanced equipment: Siemens for Nuclear Medicine and Discovery ST for PET procedures. Working in this thriving region, you'll collaborate with expert professionals, broadening your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Exposure to varying leadership styles and hospital protocols fosters growth and adds significant distinction to your professional background.
Schedule:
- 5x8 Days, Monday through Friday
- Daytime hoursstart time may vary, but shifts conclude by 5:30 pm for a comfortable work-life balance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
- Current certification in BLS or CPR
- Registered with (A.R.R.T.)
- Skilled in operation of Siemens Nuclear Medicine cameras and Discovery ST PET systems
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging studies per physician orders
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring peak performance
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
- Deliver compassionate care while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
- Work closely with radiologists and healthcare staff for optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Accurately document and report findings in the patient record
