This role involves the use of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET CT procedures. Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in venipuncture
  • Experience working with EPIC, Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology
  • Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear)
  • Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or equivalent
  • (Preferred) Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT)
  • CPR (BLS) Certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET CT imaging to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images
  • Ensure all practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations and hospital protocols
  • Accurately document procedures and patient data in EPIC
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed
