Job Description

This contract opportunity offers a variety of engaging weekday day shifts and exposure to advanced imaging technology to enhance your career in diagnostic imaging.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, no weekends required
  • Varied day shifts: 6:30 am3:00 pm, 7:00 am3:30 pm, 8:00 am4:30 pm, or 8:30 am5:00 pm

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
  • Active state licensure as required
  • Previous experience performing nuclear medicine imaging in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in safe handling, preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and reporting for physician interpretation
  • Maintain compliance with all safety protocols related to radiation, infection prevention, and patient care
  • Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
  • Document procedures and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Coordinate workflow efficiently with physicians, nurses, and other members of the diagnostic imaging team
