Job Description

Step into an impactful role specializing in Nuclear Medicine within a dynamic radiology team. This contract position requires expertise in imaging to support a diverse range of diagnostic procedures. The environment is equipped with GE Nuclear Medicine technology and utilizes MediTech EMR and McKesson PACS for streamlined workflow.

Schedule/Hours

  • Rotating on-call duties
  • Flexibility to assist with weekend shifts

Key Qualifications

  • Active CNMT certification
  • Texas Medical Board licensure
  • Extensive experience with GE Nuclear Medicine equipment
  • Proficient in cardiac imaging and radiation safety in alignment with Texas regulations
  • Collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to work efficiently as part of a small team

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on involvement with Y-90 procedures
  • Prior exposure to lymphoscintigraphy procedures

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine examinations including Lexi Scans, Hida Scans, Gastric Emptying, Pulmonary Ventilation, Bone Scan, Liver Scans, Thyroid Scans, Renal Scans, and GI Bleeds
  • Adhere to established protocols and radiation safety standards for all procedures
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Exhibit flexibility by assisting in X-Ray areas if required
  • Maintain accurate patient records using MediTech EMR and engage with McKesson PACS
  • Uphold department policies and cooperate during weekends and on-call rotations
  • Dress in hunter green scrubs for a polished, professional appearance
