Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification/registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as required
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Mastery of nuclear medicine equipment; familiarity with SPECT, PET/CT, and radiopharmaceuticals
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with precision and patient safety in mind
- Operate specialized imaging equipment to produce diagnostic scans
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret images for accurate diagnoses
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols
- Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions
- Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions and ensuring comfort
