Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (details provided upon interview)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform both diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine/PET CT procedures, utilizing radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals under designated supervision.
  • Operate Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT systems to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Ensure precise operation of imaging equipment and adherence to federal, state, and hospital policies.
  • Practice safe venipuncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals per procedure requirements.
  • Carefully document patient information and exam details using the EPIC system.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and participate in ongoing quality assurance.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in venipuncture and handling radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens PET/CT, GE Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT.
  • Acquaintance with EPIC electronic health records.
  • Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear); CT registration preferred.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification accepted.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification.
