Job Description

A travel position is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist skilled in diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging. The role is based in Little Hocking, OH, with a Monday through Friday day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Orientation occurs on Wednesday, with clinical duties beginning Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of diagnostic nuclear medicine scans including stress, gastric, gallbladder, bone, parathyroid, thyroid, brain, and renal imaging.
  • Operate and maintain advanced equipment such as GE NM830 (2022), GE Optima 640 SPECT/CT (2018, updated 2022), and Q-Stress stress machines with automatic blood pressure monitoring (2022).
  • Manage patient flow averaging 5 to 10 nuclear medicine patients daily.
  • Participate in one day per week of on-call coverage from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. during weekdays; on weekends or holidays, on-call shifts run from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with a minimum two-hour callback if called in.
  • Note: This role handles nuclear medicine scans only and does not involve PET scan operation or nuclear medicine therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio state license.
  • Certification through NMTCB or ARRT(N).
  • Successful completion of ODH licensing is required prior to the assignment startprocess typically takes 2 to 8 weeks; candidates with licensing in hand are preferred.
  • Must submit an updated resume, one reference, Relias checklist, Ohio license, current national certification, Social Security Number, date of birth, and interview availability.
