Embark on a rewarding opportunity in Nuclear Medicine Imaging, supporting diagnostic healthcare as a contract professional. This position is based in a dynamic hospital setting and requires proficiency in the latest imaging protocols. Youll work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care through precise, compassionate diagnostic studies.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Varied day shifts: 6:30am3:00pm, 7:00am3:30pm, 8:00am4:30pm, and 8:30am5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g., ARRT(N) or NMTCB)
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine imaging preferred
• Excellent patient care and communication abilities
• Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and prioritize competing tasks efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Perform a wide range of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Accurately document patient history, procedures performed, and radiation doses
• Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging results and patient experience
• Observe, adhere to, and enforce safety standards and regulatory guidelines
