Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N).
  • Valid and unrestricted state licensure where required.
  • At least one year of recent experience in a nuclear medicine imaging role.
  • Detailed knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols, equipment operation, and radiation safety.
  • Proficiency with SPECT, PET, and other nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced imaging equipment and radioactive tracers to conduct nuclear medicine studies based on physician orders.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines for all imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse reactions.
  • Maintain meticulous records, including patient information and imaging results, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Engage in regular quality assurance and equipment maintenance checks to ensure peak operation and patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring providers, and nursing staff to support optimal patient care.
