Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time or part-time contract opportunities available (details to be discussed during interview process).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N mandatory)
- Current state licensure as required
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in Nuclear Medicine Imaging
- Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams
- Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a diverse range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine imaging procedures per established protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety guidelines
- Ensure accurate patient identification, medical histories, and procedure documentation
- Monitor patients conditions during imaging and respond to any adverse reactions appropriately
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment to ensure consistent quality and safety
- Comply with all facility and regulatory standards for patient care and radiation safety
