Job Description

A travel opportunity for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician is available, offering the chance to work across two locationssplitting hours between a Cardiology outpatient office and a main hospital campus. The role requires expertise in nuclear medicine imaging with a focus on cardiac and general studies, providing critical diagnostic support.

Location
This role is based in Kittery, ME, with additional hours in Portsmouth, NH. Both areas offer a blend of scenic coastal charm and vibrant communities rich in history and culture, perfect for those who enjoy a balance of work and leisure in picturesque settings.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various nuclear medicine studies, including general and cardiac nuclear stress testing
  • Administer IV injections safely and effectively
  • Handle and store radioactive materials following strict safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine accreditation standards
  • Maintain State of Maine Radioactive Materials license
  • Document procedures accurately and communicate clearly with cardiologists and radiologists
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year nuclear medicine experience preferred
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) licensure required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
