Job Description

Advance your career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a dynamic hospital environment serving adolescent through geriatric patients. This contract opportunity requires an experienced professional to provide high-quality imaging services and routine nuclear medicine studies. Youll play a key role in patient care alongside an interdisciplinary team, utilizing advanced technology and adhering to clinical guidelines.

Schedule:

  • 4x10-hour day shifts: 06:0017:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
  • Call coverage one week per month (weekdays: end of shift until 23:00; weekends: 07:0023:00)
  • Holiday coverage as assigned based on contract period

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant Nuclear Medicine experience
  • Not accepting first-time travelers
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, NMTCB
  • Proficiency with Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe, Capintec CRC-55tR/CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, Bicron 2000 survey meters
  • Ability to operate Epic, PACS, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo systems
  • Must wear dark grey scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of imaging procedures in nuclear medicine
  • Accurately process and review images using Xceleris and PACS
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and provide floating coverage within your scope as needed
  • Adhere to compliance and orientation requirements to ensure timely start
  • Assist with call and department coverage, including required major holiday shifts
