Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET experience to support a healthcare facility in Carson City, NV. This travel assignment offers a dynamic work environment utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a chance to contribute your expertise in nuclear medicine technology.

Duration and Schedule:

  • 8-week assignment with potential for extension
  • Monday through Friday, 5 days per week
  • Day shifts with variable start times, ending no later than 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Siemens imaging cameras for Nuclear Medicine and PET scans, including the Discovery ST system
  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures according to protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide accurate and timely imaging results

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
  • Current BLS or CPR certification
  • Certification with A.R.R.T. in Nuclear Medicine
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, patient care, and safety procedures
