Exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET experience to support a healthcare facility in Carson City, NV. This travel assignment offers a dynamic work environment utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a chance to contribute your expertise in nuclear medicine technology.
Duration and Schedule:
- 8-week assignment with potential for extension
- Monday through Friday, 5 days per week
- Day shifts with variable start times, ending no later than 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Operate Siemens imaging cameras for Nuclear Medicine and PET scans, including the Discovery ST system
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures according to protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide accurate and timely imaging results
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
- Current BLS or CPR certification
- Certification with A.R.R.T. in Nuclear Medicine
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, patient care, and safety procedures
