Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N)
- Valid state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience operating nuclear imaging equipment (PET/CT, SPECT, gamma cameras)
- Expertise in handling and preparing radiopharmaceuticals safely
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Proficient with electronic health records and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists and other interdisciplinary healthcare providers
- Monitor equipment for quality control and coordinate any needed maintenance
- Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control policies
