Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific schedule varies by assignment needs)
In this role, you will:
- Apply radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to execute both diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures under the supervision of qualified physicians, chiefs, or senior technologists
- Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine systems, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for nuclear cardiology studies
- Adhere strictly to applicable Federal, State, Local, and institutional standards and protocols for safety, compliance, and quality patient care
- Ensure thorough documentation and workflow efficiency using EPIC software platform
- Perform and document venipuncture accurately as needed for procedures
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Radiation Control Board License
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear), or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Preferred: Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT)
- CPR Certification (BLS)
- Proficiency in venipuncture
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR, Siemens PET/CT, GE Nuclear Medicine, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT platforms
