This travel-based role in Nuclear Medicine offers the distinct advantage of adding high-tech imaging experience to your resume. Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in radionuclide and radiopharmaceutical techniques for diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine/PET CT procedures
- Trained in venipuncture
- Experience with EPIC, Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear)
- Or: Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- ARRT (CT) registration preferred
- CPR Certified (BLS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine/PET CT procedures
- Operate and maintain high-end imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images
- Work under the guidance of physicians and senior technologists, adhering to all applicable regulations and hospital policies
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient care within the EMR system (EPIC)
