Advance your clinical expertise in a dynamic imaging environment specializing in Nuclear Medicine. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging technology and provide essential diagnostic services that directly impact patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Varied day shifts: 6:30-3:00, 7:00-3:30, 8:00-4:30, and 8:30-5:00
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
- Current state licensure as required for Nuclear Medicine Technologists
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare imaging department
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and administering radiopharmaceuticals
- Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety and quality control procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document diagnostic findings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for diagnostic imaging
- Operate imaging equipment to obtain clear and accurate images
- Convey procedure instructions and provide support to patients throughout examinations
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as necessary
- Maintain precise documentation of procedures and patient information
- Ensure all equipment and imaging spaces meet safety and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
