Job Description
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist role is available in Atlanta, GA, on a contract basis. This position requires a minimum of two years experience and proficient knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging systems and technologies, serving a diverse patient population from adolescents to geriatrics.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience; no entry-level candidates.
- Current certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, NMTCB.
- Skilled in operating Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, and Bicron 2000 survey meters.
- Familiarity with Epic, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo PACS systems.
- Ability to float within the facility as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging adhering to facility protocols and technology usage.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Participate in a rotation schedule with every other weekend off.
- Engage in on-call duties one week per month, covering weekdays evenings and weekends.
- Work holiday shifts if they coincide with the contract period.
- Complete required orientation hours as determined by contract length.
- Adhere to all compliance requirements to ensure timely assignment start.
Schedule:
- Day shift, 4 ten-hour shifts per week (06:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
