Job Description

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist eager to take on a contract assignment in a dynamic hospital environment. This role calls for a strong background in imaging, specifically in nuclear medicine, and requires expertise with a range of imaging and processing systems. Youll work with adolescent through geriatric patients and support diagnostic excellence within a collaborative team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: Four 10-hour shifts (06:0017:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call: One full week per month (MF: after shift to 23:00; weekends: 07:0023:00)
  • Flexibility to work major holidays as per assignment
  • Floating within the facility and clinical scope as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • Certifications required: BLS, ARRT-R, NMTCB
  • Proficiency with Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960, Capintec CRC-55tR, Capintec CRC-15 Beta, LudLum Model 14C, Bicron 2000
  • Familiarity with Epic, PACS, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo
  • Comfortable treating adolescent to geriatric patient populations
  • Required scrub color: dark grey

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process nuclear medicine imaging procedures
  • Ensure safe and precise radiation dosing and documentation
  • Utilize advanced imaging and processing equipment efficiently
  • Float within the facility as required
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

  • Full compliance required prior to start
  • Participation in a clinical review and approval process
  • Patient ratios and census may vary
  • Non-billable orientation hours based on contract length
