Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a clinical nuclear medicine role
- Competency in operating and troubleshooting imaging systems (PET, SPECT, gamma cameras)
- Proficient in administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ability to analyze images and collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and regulatory compliance protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established standards
- Perform a range of routine and specialized nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Maintain equipment and quality assurance records, ensuring optimal operation and image quality
- Assess and monitor patients for reactions before, during, and after procedures
- Provide patient education regarding imaging processes and post-procedure instructions
- Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety measures
- Document procedures, patient history, and observations accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
