Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a clinical nuclear medicine role
  • Competency in operating and troubleshooting imaging systems (PET, SPECT, gamma cameras)
  • Proficient in administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Ability to analyze images and collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and regulatory compliance protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established standards
  • Perform a range of routine and specialized nuclear medicine imaging procedures
  • Maintain equipment and quality assurance records, ensuring optimal operation and image quality
  • Assess and monitor patients for reactions before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide patient education regarding imaging processes and post-procedure instructions
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety measures
  • Document procedures, patient history, and observations accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
