Job Description
Seeking an experienced Imaging Technologist proficient in multiple modalities, including CT and X-ray. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to leverage their radiologic technology expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour day shifts each week
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Associates Degree in radiologic technology
- Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred
- At least three years of relevant technical experience preferred
- Current, valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) license for the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certifications
- Active CPR or BLS certification required
- Valid fluoro license required
- Demonstrated experience performing both CT and X-ray imaging
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment for both CT and X-ray diagnostic procedures
- Ensure all scans and images are of diagnostic quality to support accurate clinical evaluations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and communicate findings with the healthcare team
- Flexibly adapt to workflow changes, prioritizing urgent or emergent cases as needed
- Engage in quality assurance and continuous professional development to stay abreast of technological and procedural advancements
