Job Description
Step into a dynamic imaging role in a contract position where your multi-modality expertise will be highly valued. As a skilled professional adept in CT and X-ray technologies, youll work in a collaborative environment with the latest imaging equipment, delivering exemplary diagnostic services across multiple modalities.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Daytime hours
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelors or Masters degree is preferred
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is mandatory
- Valid Fluoroscopy license is required
- Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS/HS-BLS/RQIBLS) certification
- Minimum three years of technical experience preferred
- Proven experience in both CT and X-ray modalities is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT, X-ray, and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to capture accurate, timely scans
- Comply with institutional policies as well as state and federal regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging technology, techniques, and best practices
- Accurately document performed tests and patient outcomes
