Qualifications:
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- Active state licensure (as applicable)
- Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong technical skills with various MRI protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for MRI studies with strong attention to patient comfort and safety
- Review and verify physicians orders and imaging protocols before exams
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate, timely image acquisition
- Maintain accurate patient and equipment records following departmental procedures
- Troubleshoot scanner issues, report equipment malfunctions promptly, and ensure cleanliness of the workspace
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and infection control protocols
