Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active state licensure (as applicable)
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong technical skills with various MRI protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for MRI studies with strong attention to patient comfort and safety
• Review and verify physicians orders and imaging protocols before exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate, timely image acquisition
• Maintain accurate patient and equipment records following departmental procedures
• Troubleshoot scanner issues, report equipment malfunctions promptly, and ensure cleanliness of the workspace
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and infection control protocols
