The imaging department is equipped with advanced GE MRI technology, ensuring exposure to industry-leading tools and practices. You'll work closely with a dedicated team, gaining insights into different leadership and workflow approaches, all while enhancing your adaptability and broadening your clinical perspective. Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Day shifts only; primarily outpatient imaging
- One MRI tech per shift, with an aide when available
Qualifications:
- RT(MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT certification (required)
- Active KS licensure (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Prior Meditech EMR experience (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of human anatomy
- Well-organized, punctual, and able to manage a fast-paced schedule
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of outpatient MRI exams using GE equipment
- Ensure a high standard of patient care and comfort throughout each procedure
- Accurately operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment
- Maintain organized workflow to keep the imaging schedule on track
- Complete documentation using Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with MRI tech aides for efficient department operations
