A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist specializing in magnetic resonance imaging to assist in providing high-quality patient imaging services. This contract position is based in Weaverville, NC, and requires a professional with a minimum of two years of experience in MRI technology. Experience with MRICT is considered a plus, enhancing your ability to manage a variety of imaging responsibilities effectively.
The schedule includes 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, plus a third day either Friday or Monday, which will be determined. Additionally, on-call hours are required as needed. Timely credentialing is mandatory, with documentation due the Wednesday before your start date.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist
- MRICT experience preferred
- Valid and current licensure relevant to the position
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and an additional weekday
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities when necessary
Responsibilities:
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging scans according to physician orders and safety protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate records and comply with credentialing requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
