Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible first shift: 7:00 am 7:30 pm
- Third shift: 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- No on-call or weekend shifts
As an MR Technologist, youll operate GE Signa Artist (1.5T) and GE Signa Architect (3T) systems, ensuring high-quality imaging for both routine and complex protocols (Neuro, Body, MSK) in a hospital with over 650 beds and five MR magnets. The role involves patient positioning, providing clear procedure information, navigating EMR systems (EPIC), handling PACS (McKesson), and prioritizing regulatory standards for a safe care environment. Assignments remain within the Medical Center, offering exposure to both outpatient and inpatient populations, including critically ill patients and those requiring sedation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficient with GE MR systems, PACS, and EMR navigation
- Ability to adapt to complex and diverse patient cases
Responsibilities:
- Operate MR equipment and follow established imaging protocols
- Deliver compassionate patient care before, during, and after scans
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Participate in department orientation and ongoing training
