Key Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (MR) certification required
- Minimum of one year of recent MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Proficiency in performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Strong communication skills and an adaptable approach in fast-paced environments
- Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort
- Safeguard patient privacy and uphold all quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate, timely diagnoses
- Maintain detailed patient records and manage imaging documentation
