Job Description

Take your MRI expertise to a dynamic clinical setting in a 13-week assignment supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a modern clinic. Youll be integral in ensuring accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care, utilizing Siemens MRI equipment and the Epic EMR system.

Schedule:

  • 5x8 hour shifts
  • Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years MRI technologist experience
  • Siemens equipment and Epic system familiarity preferred
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only)
  • MRT and ARRT-MR credentials
  • Experience with both clinic and hospital environments is beneficial
  • Professional communication and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures following exam protocols with minimal supervision
  • Prepare and position patients ensuring safety, comfort, and an excellent standard of care
  • Effectively use the AIDET framework to communicate with patients and families
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, drug, and radiation requirements
  • Handle documentation, records, and consent forms according to departmental standards
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with physicians, engineers, and support staff to optimize operations
  • Serve as a role model and preceptor for onboarding or team training as needed

Clinic specifics:

  • Scrub color: Any solid color permitted (no inappropriate prints)
  • Clinic setting serving a broad patient population
