The role serves inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients, providing a comprehensive range of imaging cases that will expand your expertise and add valuable depth to your resume.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation: once per month
  • Up to 7 days off can be approved
  • Department on-call rotation

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in MRI
  • ARRT (MR registered) and current BLS certification
  • Skilled in MRI principles, MR safety, peripheral IV starts, IV contrast injection, and implant workups
  • Familiarity with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T scanners (experience with these systems is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working with EPIC charting

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
  • Maintain safety and quality standards in line with MR protocols
  • Execute peripheral IV starts and contrast injections as needed
  • Collaborate with supervisors and healthcare team members
  • Participate in department on-call rotation and weekend shifts
  • Complete at least one orientation shift to learn unit flow
