This position provides hands-on involvement with MRI patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. You'll work within a Level IV Trauma and Primary Stroke Center recognized for its commitment to excellent patient care. The exposure to a wide spectrum of patient needs and innovative imaging technologies offers a unique avenue for professional development, resume enhancement, and the chance to collaborate with skilled leaders in a supportive atmosphere.
Schedule/Hours
- Weekend rotation required once per month
- On-call duties as part of the department rotation
- Time off requestable up to 7 days
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of MRI clinical experience
- Experienced with basic MRI principles, safety practices, and Siemens Sola 1.5T/Skyra 3T scanners (preferred)
- Proficient intravenous skills with contrast injection; implant workup expertise
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic MRI exams for diverse patient populations, emphasizing accuracy and care
- Maintain rigorous MR safety standards and perform implant workups
- Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media as indicated
- Utilize EPIC for charting and adhere to established departmental protocols
- Collaborate with department supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
