Step into a highly specialized MRI role within a leading healthcare environment offering state-of-the-art imaging technology and advanced patient care. This contract position is based in Racine, WI, providing an exceptional opportunity to work with a collaborative team using both GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
This role supports a fast-paced imaging department equipped with five advanced scanners, including GE Discovery 750W and Siemens Aera and Magnetom Skyra models. You will perform a wide range of specialized imaging exams such as cardiac, neuro, functional, body, musculoskeletal, and other specialty procedures on diverse patient populations including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cases. Experience with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac imaging is highly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborating with technologists, imaging assistants, and coordinators to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
- Managing a 1:1 patient ratio with focus on specialized exam protocols
- Utilizing EPIC and McKesson PACS systems for charting and image management
- Participating in weekend rotations (up to every 3rd weekend) and on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time
- Adhering to professional dress standards and infection control policies, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of MRI technologist experience with hands-on knowledge of GE and Siemens scanners
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency in EPIC and PACS imaging systems
- Ability to work independently yet closely within a team environment
