Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services using state-of-the-art MRI equipment. This position requires a strong background in MRI imaging with expertise in Siemens systems preferred. The role is based in Quincy, MA, and offers a contract assignment with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and physician requests.
  • Ensure optimal image quality and patient safety during all procedures.
  • Maintain and operate Siemens MRI equipment efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review imaging results.
  • Manage patient preparation and communication to ensure a comfortable experience.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Proficiency in operating Siemens MRI equipment is highly preferred.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
