Schedule:
- Weekend rotation based on department needs
- No on-call expectations
- Holiday coverage assigned per unit requirements
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of acute care MRI experience
- Open to first-time travelers
- BLS, ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification
- KY License (unless grandfathered)
- Experience with spine, stroke, head trauma patients, and student athletes
- Strong patient care abilities and a positive, collaborative attitude
- Comfortable working with Cerner EMR (preferred), Siemens Vida 3T, and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI exams on a diverse set of patients (average 6-7 per day)
- Collaborate with 24/7 radiologist support and departmental MRI techs; occasional solo shifts, aided by Tech Assistant as needed
- Prioritize exceptional patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Complete comprehensive documentation using Cerner EMR
