A leading hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about advanced diagnostic imaging to work with a supportive clinical team in a dynamic hospital environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI imaging experience
- Current ARRT (MR) certification required
- Valid New York State licensure as an MRI Technologist
- Demonstrated proficiency with MRI equipment and safety protocols
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging software
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety
- Evaluate images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation according to hospital policy
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety standards in all imaging procedures
- Monitor equipment functionality and assist with troubleshooting or coordinating repairs as needed
- Provide compassionate care, addressing patient questions and concerns throughout the imaging process
