Job Description

A skilled MRI Technologist with multi-modality certifications is needed for a contract position in Plano, TX. This role requires expertise in MRI imaging, as well as current certifications in CT and X-Ray. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including a GE 360 1.5T MRI, a GE 660 128-slice CT scanner, and portable imaging units from GE and Shimadzu.

Qualifications:

  • Certification and licensure as an MRI Technologist
  • Registries and licensure in CT and X-Ray required
  • Must hold a valid CT Tech Texas license or be able to obtain it within 4 months
  • Experience with GE and Shimadzu imaging equipment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including possible rotation between evening and day shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI, CT, and X-Ray procedures following established protocols
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures
  • Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment efficiently
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic images
  • Adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines for imaging and patient care

Shift/Housing Details:

  • Mid-shift work schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM (mid 5x8-hour shift)
  • Contract employment with flexible scheduling possibilities
