Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Valid state licensure as an MRI technologist
  • Minimum of one year of recent MRI experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety guidelines and operational protocols
  • Proficient with MRI equipment and digital imaging systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective patient care
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative clinical team

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible and varied shifts available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physicians orders and standardized protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, explaining processes and answering questions
  • Operate and troubleshoot MRI systems, maintaining precise image quality and accurate patient documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists in the diagnostic process
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents and report findings as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment, rooms, and linens between procedures
  • Adhere to infection control, patient privacy, and organizational policies at all times
