This role places you within a large, state-of-the-art medical center in a Level 1 trauma environment. You'll engage with routine and critical cases across all age groups, expanding your expertise in a department that emphasizes comprehensive, hands-on training and orientation. Expect to hone your skills using advanced MRI technology, working alongside a diverse team and leadershipan environment ideal for learning varied workplace strategies and elevating your professional credentials.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts based on department needs:
- First: 7:00am 7:30pm
- Third: 7:00pm 7:30am
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficient in EMR/PACS navigation (EPIC, McKesson)
- Ability to scan both routine and complex cases, including patients under sedation or with implants
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced GE MRI systems (Signa Artist 1.5T, Signa Architect 3T)
- Deliver high-quality imaging for radiological interpretation
- Prepare, position, and inform patients regarding procedures
- Uphold exemplary safety and care standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within MRI and designated magnets
