This opportunity is for an experienced MRI Technologist to operate advanced imaging equipment and deliver exceptional patient care within a Level 1 trauma center environment. The role involves producing high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation, navigating EMR/PACS systems, positioning patients accurately, and adhering to imaging protocols. Candidates will work with state-of-the-art GE Signa Artist (1.5T) and GE Signa Architect (3T) MRI machines, using EPIC charting and McKesson PACS software.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing MRI procedures on a diverse patient population, including outpatients and inpatients, ranging from routine to critical cases
- Safely scanning patients with various implants such as pacemakers and aneurysm clips following established protocols
- Providing thorough patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout imaging sessions
- Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborating with the medical team to support diagnosis and treatment through accurate imaging
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson PACS preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts; primarily first shift (7:00 am7:30 pm) and third shift (7:00 pm7:30 am)
- No weekend work or on-call responsibilities required
