A reputable hospital in New York is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI imaging experience
- Current ARRT (MR) certification
- Valid NY State Radiologic Technologist licensure
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Schedule:
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Properly position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to achieve optimal diagnostic results
- Maintain accurate records, patient documentation, and equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnoses and superior patient care
- Adhere to all organizational, regulatory, and quality standards
