Qualifications:
- Current and valid ARRT (MRI) certification
- State licensure (or eligibility) for radiologic technologists
- Previous experience in an MRI setting, preferably within a hospital or outpatient facility
- Proficiency operating MRI equipment and adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, explaining procedures clearly
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Accurately document exam results and maintain records
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary medical teams for optimal patient care
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
