Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in MRI imaging, with strong proficiency in operating MRI equipment
  • Valid ARRT(MR) certification or equivalent
  • Current licensure in the state of New York
  • Understanding of MRI safety protocols and proper patient positioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately document procedures and patient information
  • Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images as ordered by medical professionals
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any questions or concerns
  • Ensure all safety guidelines and infection control procedures are strictly followed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and support diagnostic processes
  • Maintain detailed, accurate electronic records and ensure data integrity
  • Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance or troubleshooting as needed
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing imaging studies
