An established hospital in New York is seeking skilled MRI Technologists to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. This is a 13-week role beginning as soon as possible, offering the opportunity to work with a highly qualified imaging team and state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in MRI
- Valid ARRT (MR) certification required
- Active New York State Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong proficiency in operating MRI equipment and knowledge of imaging protocols
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient safety and comfort
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in imaging to support diagnostic needs
- Maintain proper documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards
- Prepare and position patients safely, providing clear instructions and addressing concerns to ensure comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for smooth workflow and optimal patient care
- Follow established safety and infection control procedures
