An advanced MRI imaging opportunity is available in a fast-paced, specialized environment serving a diverse patient population. This contract position is based in New Berlin, WI, at a facility renowned for trauma care, neonatal services, and stroke treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of MRI procedures including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams.
- Work with a team of experienced technologists to deliver high-quality imaging services for outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients.
- Operate and maintain advanced equipment, including GE Discovery 750W and Siemens Aera and Magentom Skyra scanners.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS systems for imaging review.
- Participate in weekend rotations, on-call duties with a 30-minute response time, and holiday coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with lead techs, coordinators, and imaging assistants ensuring seamless unit support.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of MRI experience, preferably with patients requiring implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac imaging.
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficiency in operating both GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
- Experience charting in EPIC and using McKesson PACS.
- Capacity to commit to weekend rotations and on-call shifts.
- Professional appearance; scrub color is flexible.
